This Summer's travel edit is about indulging our our passion for Venice. We love Venice’s amazing architecture, its history, its fabulous and effortless style. It’s not surprising that our photographic team chose to visit the lidos of Venice when scouting a location for our new look-book shoot.
Just a short Vaporetto (waterbus) ride away from the bustle of Venice, the Lido is the place where Venetians escape to stretch out and take in the sun. Its villas and grand hotels offer an eclectic mix of Gothic, Moorish, Art Nouveau and traditional Venetian architecture. But the leading role here is played by the beach. For those who have seen Luchino Visconti's 1971 film Death in Venice, the Lido calls to mind strains of Mahler’s Adagietto from his 5th Symphony and the inimitable style of Dirk Bogarde. In addition, the Lido is famously the home of the annual Venice Film Festival. And if you need any more glamour, Byron and Shelley used to go horse-riding on the Lido's dunes.
Our look-book shoot was a fantastic trip for all concerned. For the shoot, our stylist Lucy Trievnor discovered a wonderful new accessory made by London designer Anastasia Sotiropoulou. Anastasia launched Iris Sandals in 2014, making beautiful embellished leather sandals manufactured in Crete. In 2015 she expanded her range to jewellery and the bangle bracelets our model is wearing in these look-book shots are part of her exquisite Make a Statement collection. We love the combination of the textural cord and smooth high shine metal clasp.
With just a single day to themselves after the shoot, our team chose to visit the spectacular Lake Carezza. A three hour drive north from Venice, in the South Tyrol region of Italy, Lake Carezza is one of the most stunning lakes in the Alps.
The lake’s name means “Rainbow Lake” and it’s easy to see why. The reflection of the surrounding trees and mountains twinkle in the water like jewels sparkling in the sun. According to local legend, in order to win the heart of a mermaid, a magician smashed a rainbow he had created into the lake and sent the beautiful colours tumbling into the water. In reality, the small lake’s water comes solely from underground springs and melted mountain snow, which is quite romantic enough.

Spring is one of the best times to travel the world. From the streets of Paris, to the markets of Marrakech, the world is shaking off its dull wintery garb and donning the optimism of returning warmth and sunlight. We have loved researching wonderful places to travel to this Spring. This month our pick is glorious, vibrant, musical Cuba...
"Planning a winter-sun holiday? Don't even think of getting on that plane without your Trubikini" Yes indeed. Thanks for including us House of Coco...
Every now and then we'll aggregate what our customers have been saying to us and post it up for all to see...
The Ultimate Triangle comes in 8 sizes (from 0 to 7) and caters for over 40 different bra sizes. Find your Trubikini size easily using our simple size chart. It uses the two elements of your bra size to find your fit. For example, the UK bra size 34C would pick a Trubikini Size 2.
All three of our pants come in 6 simple sizes and fit true to standard UK dress sizes. There is a good amount of stretch to the fabric. So we recommend that you select the Trubikini size that corresponds directly to the UK size you normally wear in pants. For example, a UK size 12 would pick a Trubikini Size 3. If you prefer a little less coverage, try the Trubikini pant one size down.
Our Swimdress has a lot of stretch to it, which is why we only need 3 sizes. The Swimdress ties at the neck and has drawstrings at the sides which you can use to change the length, so that you can adjust it for a perfect fit. If you normally wear dresses in UK Size 6, 8 or 10, go for a Trubikini Size 1. If you normally wear dresses in a UK Size 12 or 14, go for a Trubikini Size 2. And if you normally wear a UK Size 16 or 18, try a Trubikini Size 3.
